The project consists of 324 apartments with studios, 1BRs & 2BRs, and provides just over 18,000 SF of amenity space. Amenities include a controlled-access parking garage, a large fitness studio, home offices, a dog friendly environment, virtual golf and a rooftop deck. A total of four courtyards encourage outdoor living and include grills, fire pits and a swimming pool.
During the design process, the project team was faced with many site specific challenges. With adjacency to the Hudson River, the American Sugar Refinery and train tracks, the project quickly took shape and overcame many hurdles. With shared parking for the adjacent apartments, Modera includes a 6 level parking structure as well as additional parking beneath the building’s podium yielding 525 total covered parking spaces.
