University of Cincinnati – The Verge Clubhouse – Completed

In August of this year, CUBE 3 Studio saw the completion of the clubhouse, amenities, corridors and units for The Verge student housing project.  The 20,000 SF of Clubhouse interior space was done in collaboration with Gilbane Development, whose “next level of student housing” concept slogan drove the innovative and youthful design.  The Verge, completed for August 2016 occupancy, is a 245,680 SF building that features 495 beds within 178 apartment units and 380 parking spaces.

In addition to the state of the art fitness center, with tanning center and gaming spaces, the amenities package includes a cyber café with PC bar, media room and multiple casual seating areas that all foster a sense of community and engagement for the student.  Students will be able to take full advantage of the group study rooms, but when a break is needed, ease over to the private landscaped courtyard with BBQ grill and fire pit with seating areas.

The Verge represents the fourth Student Housing project that CUBE 3 Studio has designed in collaboration with the Gilbane Development Group in the past 3 years. This project was recently awarded LEED Gold certification by USGBC.
