Nik Middleton, RIBA and Brian O’Connor, AIA the founding partners of CUBE 3 Studio LLC based in Lawrence and Boston, MA, are pleased to announce the continuation of their national expansion with the opening of the firm’s third office location in Miami, Florida. Additionally, Nik and Brian have established a new business partnership with Jonathan Cardello, AIA, formerly VP Commercial Sector Lead at Stantec, who will lead the new Miami office as Partner.
Since opening their doors in 2004, CUBE 3 has been recognized for providing superior planning, architecture, interior design, and sustainability services for their clients. Focused on the academic sector, commercial development, multi-family housing, mixed-use spaces, and hospitality. The firm has very recently been recognized in the top 300 design firms by Architectural Record, and as a top 500 design firm by ENR.
CUBE 3 Partner/CEO Nik Middleton affirms that the move to the southern region of the country is the next natural step for the firm. “Among other sectors, student housing needs, specifically, continue to grow in Florida, and CUBE3 is a national leader in that market. Our presence in Miami allows us to pursue projects with local and regional universities who are eager to partner with us as the needs of their institutions and student continue to grow.” He goes on to say, “We have created a strong, established team in the Miami office, consisting of some of our most talented architects and designers, giving us an impressive advantage in the Southeast, as we continue our national expansion.”
