About This Project

Tallman Eye Associates

Lawrence, MA

Careful planning and attention to detail were required to relocate this 13,000 SF optometry clinic from a space in an existing hospital to a historic mill building on the Merrimack River. The ultimate goal was to create an exciting and welcoming new office that offers an advanced level of service to 50 patients at a time, while simultaneously expanding the existing capabilities of the practice.

The new layout provides a mix of private patient spaces and improved clinical areas, which ameliorate the office’s flow, efficiency and overall patient experience. In addition to the doctors’ offices and pediatric optician exam rooms, the facility features an integral retail store, surgical consulting areas, and several conference rooms.
